What jewelry goes with a cream-colored dress?

I've got a formal cream-colored gown I'm planning to wear to a gala event. What kind of jewelry can I wear with it? I think pearls might clash since they're white, but could I do pearl drop earrings since they'll be farther from the dress? Does a gold necklace work? Any other suggestions?

no, no pearls..no matter where they are.

the best would be a colored stone, and personally to me i think silver/white gold looks better as the metal.
deeper colors look better like ruby and sapphire…something that stands out.

i think a pearl necklace and hanging pearl earings will look good with the gown but it also depends on the way u want to style your hair.

    Turquiose, Tanzanite, Emerald, or Sapphire.

My wife says, “gold works great with cream”. Pearls might wash your complexion out if you are not of African American descent.

Jade or amethist would be lovely.

i’d go with pink or some peachy color. but if you want to add some edge to it, try a light aqua color, it looks refreshing :)

white and gold, cream and gold, ivory and gold, they’re all beautiful. No pearls. I would definitely go with gold, it’s very back in style.
