I want to start a jewelry business and I would like to use the word 'Couture' as part of the title. I make high quality jewelry with modern and vintage jewelry pieces mixed in. I've searched the meaning of couture and come up with fashion design and clothing related, but can it work for jewelry?

Sure you can. You will need to go to your local county clerk’s office to register your name, to make sure you don’t steal anyone else’s registered name. It will probably cost you around $10-$15.
