There is so much great information that you have given us in this video. It is a very pleasant video to watch. Thanks again. I have subscribed.
I have had a Florenza Brooch for 20 years. It used to belong to my mother and as well as her mother. I had no idea how much these pieces where so desired. I have always just kept it stored. Never worn by myself. I wonder was someone would pay for it sometimes. But It is a sentimental piece that I believe that I will never get rid of.
One of my best finds was in an out of the way junk shop in a not so good part of town. The bracelet was wire wrap bead and, obviously, unmarked. It had one matching elaborate dangle earring that was marked. It was Hobe. I paid $3. I listed it that evening on ebay for $475 or best offer. It sold in less than 3 hours for $385. Not a bad days pay.
Awesome vid, thanks for posting this.
Hi this is a really great video, Is there any way to get a copy of this on dvd as i want to share it with a group of collectors and there is no internet access. This would make a really great tutorial for a jewellery party. please let me know if possible, many thanks Penny x
great video is there any way to get a copy on dvd and not on you tube as the people who i want to show this to dont have internet access. This is a really great video and there are a group of us who collect and this would make a great party evening tutorial. please let me know if poss.
I love ventage jewelry, and at the moment I’m taking all of the broken, found junk and not so great, but still pretty so they wont go to waste pieces and putting them together into a new funky collage style necklace or bracelet. I guess you could call them refurbished pieces.
My best find was some years back; I picked up two brooches and a matching pair of earrings in sterling silver by George Jensen. I didnt know who he was at the time of the buy, but I knew the pieces were of good quality and I only paid $8.00 for all three pieces
Thank you for this most informative video. Ive been collection costume jewelry for over forty years, but Ive never really taken the time to find out about the designers of the jewelry. .
